Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) is always looking for writers for the following publications:
- Metro magazine
- Screen Education magazine
- study guides.
We ask that all writers download and adhere to our submission, referencing and style guide, and return a Letter of Agreement to us once we have accepted the article.
Please contact the magazines’ respective editors, Adolfo Aranjuez (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Greta Parry (email@example.com), with article proposals, submissions and editorial queries. We prefer articles to be emailed as Microsoft Word files, including a two-line bio of the author. Where possible, we also appreciate as many print-quality images as possible to be emailed, or mailed on CD to: ATOM, PO Box 2040, St Kilda West VIC 3182, Australia.
All writers are paid for their articles upon publication. Our pay rates for writers are outlined below.
Metro specialises in essays, articles, reviews and interviews that analyse the film and media cultures of Australia and the Asia-Pacific. It covers feature films, short films and documentaries, as well as television, radio, games and new media.
