The Moving Image is
Australia’s premier series of monographs on film,
television and multimedia, covering current practice,
history, theory, analysis and criticism.
Each monograph consists of about 30,000 to 50,000 words
and deals with a specific topic. Some issues will be
single authored, and others, edited collections. The
writing is scholarly and, at the same time, accessible
to an interested general readership. It is also intended
that the issues will be of particular relevance for teaching
at secondary and/or tertiary level. Australian film/television/multimedia
is its principal, but not exclusive, focus.
The monographs
have readers and subscribers from all over the globe,
with one of the titles currently set as a text at Exeter
University in the UK.
Keep abreast with the Australian media by subscribing
to and reading The
Moving Image, for extended analytical studies
on Australian film, television and multimedia.
The Moving Image is published
